1. Safety & Trust First
We verify basic information of all independent cleaners before they are approved to join our platform. While we take reasonable steps to onboard trustworthy professionals, we encourage you to be present at the start and end of each service. Personal information shared through the platform must never be used outside the scope of the booking.
2. Service Overview
Our platform connects you with independent cleaning service providers ("cleaners"). Cleaners are not employees of the platform. You retain the right to choose and communicate directly with the cleaner regarding your specific cleaning needs.
3. Booking & Payments
All bookings must be paid in full through the platform before a service is delivered. A booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully received. The platform may temporarily hold payments to ensure service completion and fair dispute handling.
4. Job Start & Completion Codes
Each booking includes a unique start code and end code.
You must provide the start code to the cleaner when the job begins.
You must provide the end code only after the job is completed to your satisfaction.
These codes allow the platform to track service progress and protect you from incomplete or unauthorized work.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate address and booking details.
Ensure safe access to the property at the agreed time.
Provide the start and end codes at the correct time.
Report any issues (e.g., damage, loss, misconduct) within 24 hours of service completion.
6. Cleaner Responsibilities
Cleaners are expected to:
Arrive on time.
Perform services professionally and carefully.
Respect your property and privacy.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel a booking before a cleaner has accepted it. Late cancellations may not qualify for a refund. Any approved refunds are issued at the platform's reasonable discretion, based on the specific circumstances.
8. Reporting Issues & Liability
If you experience property damage, loss of items, theft, or misconduct, you must report it within 24 hours via the platform. The platform will investigate in good faith. However, because cleaners are independent providers, the platform is not legally responsible for their actions. You agree to pursue claims directly against the cleaner where possible, and the platform will assist with relevant booking information for legal purposes.
9. Privacy (POPIA)
We collect your name, contact details, and address solely to facilitate bookings. This information is shared only with the assigned cleaner for service delivery. All data is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
10. Platform Rights
We may suspend or remove any customer or cleaner for misuse, fraud, misconduct, or violation of these terms. We may also update these terms from time to time; continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Independent Cleaners - Important Legal Notice
Cleaners on our platform are independent service providers, not employees, agents, or representatives of the platform. They are solely responsible for their own conduct, punctuality, quality of work, taxes, insurance, and compliance with the law. The platform does not direct or control how cleaners perform their services. This disclaimer is a fundamental part of our agreement with you.
